What is the role of the neighborhood association?

A neighborhood association is a voluntary association for the residents of the Redlands that collectively work together to create a better neighborhood for all.

Do you have to be a homeowner to be a member of the Association?

No. It is not a homeowner association and membership is voluntary. Homeowners and renters have worked together for decades to make the neighborhood what it is today, so both are welcome in the neighborhood association. 

What does the Association do? 

The members of the Redlands Neighborhood Association (RNA) meet regularly to socialize, conduct business and discuss the future of the neighborhood. Our goal is to make the Redlands the best neighborhood it can be.

The Association performs many functions, including:

How much are membership dues?

Association dues are $60 per home. Dues are collected annually and they can be paid at any time by contacting the Treasurer or via Venmo.

What does the association do with that money?

The association pays for a number of things, including:

  • landscaping the Western median;
  • maintenance of neighborhood signs and public areas.
  • neighborhood events
